Fees and Inclusions

Legal Weddings and Handfastings (where they are also legal weddings)

My standard fee is $550.  A non refundable deposit of $150 is required at the time the booking is made that secures the date/time for your ceremony. The remaining balance is due at least 14 days prior to the ceremony. The fee covers and includes;

  • Your initial consultation,
  • Any additional consultations to confirm or finalise ceremony details,
  • Conducting the marriage ceremony,
  • PA system including CD options, USB or I-Pod connectivity and wireless microphones,
  • Unlimited email communication for planning and finalising the ceremony,
  • Unlimited telephone communication for planning and finalising the ceremony,
  • All legals and marriage documentation lodgement with the Attorney General,
  • A marriage certificate copy for the couple,
  • A personalised transcript of the ceremony,
  • Registry signing table and chairs if required,
  • Certificate signing pens,
  • Travel costs in connection with the marriage, rehearsal or site visits where the distance of a return journey between Flagstaff Hill, SA and the place of marriage does not exceed 40 km.

So what’s not included?

  • Rehearsal (charged at $50 per hour),
  • Travel costs where the rehearsal, wedding or site visit return trip is greater than 40 ks from Flagstaff Hill, SA (charged at $50 per hour),
  • Any venue entrance, permit or activity fees,
  • Additional certificates or transcripts (charged at $5 each),
  • Any additional fees for lengthy or specific rituals as agreed.

Where a ceremony is cancelled, a refund may apply.

Other Ceremonies and Rituals

For all other ceremonies or rituals including handfastings (where they are not also legal weddings), vow renewals, Wiccanings, baby namings, funerals, pet funerals, family blessings, home blessings, cronings, coming of age etc, the basic fee is $450.   A non refundable deposit of $150 is required at the time the booking is made.
